Join us at the National Museum of the American Coverlet in Bedford, PA for a 3-day exploration of flax and linen, featuring expert-led workshops, demonstrations, and talks celebrating textile craftsmanship and tradition.
It has been 10 years since the Flax & Linen Symposium was held in Deerfield, Massachusetts in 2016 - so it's time to do it again!. This time the event would be two-fold: a fundraiser for the National Museum of the American Coverlet and a gathering of flax and linen enthusiasts. We hope you join us - either in person or virtually!
Presenters include: Cassie Dickson, Andrea Myklebust, Cindy Conner, Brenda Page, Michelle Parrish, Gina Gerhard, Ron Walter, and museum director Melinda Zongor.
We are proud to announce that our event is being sponsored by the Southeast Fiber Arts Alliance (SEFAA), the Handweavers Guild of America, Inc. (HGA), and the MidAtlantic Fiber Association (MAFA). Their sponsorship is providing us with technical expertise so we are able to broaden participation to a larger virtual audience, and we sincerely thank them for their support.
